Sometimes the best shot can be the unexpected one like on a non-eventful Sunday afternoon. The shot, like the view, can change with one’s perspective. Maybe the least unattractive river can become quiet beautiful when taking the time to look and frame the moment. Sometimes the best times can be unexpected, and be right in front of us the whole time. The river runs through Wichita Falls, Texas where most people don’t venture down to enjoy its presence. It winds through here sometimes up, but lately way down in a historic Texas drought that just won’t loosen it’s grip. The river is not a water source for the town, but it can serve as an inspiration to a force that is beautiful, powerful and that will not forget us.
