This is Terek
his favorite food is squid
he became inspired
by the Karate Kid
Terek was impatient
with a bullying bunch
decided to learn
the one-inch punch
desiring to walk
in the way of the Dragon
learning tricks
so he could start braggin’
entering a school with dogma
by Bruce Lee
believing bully beating
is the best key
learning the ying and yang
whirling through the air
back flip for a black belt
chopping through a chair
building those muscles
so he could go hard
wax on, wax off
in the front yard
Never one to conform
in a Buffalo Stance
the unsung hero
gonna take a chance
dissing crazy ex-girlfriend,
gathering some tips
Terek took on
multiple back flips
but on his way to the ground
an elemental infraction
landed him in the hospital
locked down in traction
Oh no! I always cringe when I watch those movies. And in The Karate Kid, didn’t Ralph Macchio end up breaking his leg or something awful and still winning? I think your ending is more realistic.
I think he did injure his leg at the end. My son took karate for quite awhile but never injured himself (no real fighting,of course). I think the first Karate Kid was the best.
Me too! See, I remember that Jaden Smith did break his leg and continue the fight but can’t remember is Ralph Macchio did too but either way, I remember cringing through both. I’m glad your son turned out okay!
We will have to look it up. I like the fact that they also taught the kids to be respectful and encouraged them to do well in school, a side bonus to this karate school.
Yes, that’s true. I took my son for a while but he never got into it.
This was fun and very good almost rapping beat. I enjoyed the Neneh Cherry song and hope you have a fantastic weekend, Lana! ๐
Thanks Robin. I like those crazy, fun eighties songs! I hope you have a fantastic weekend also ๐
Very clever! It should have one of those television warnings – don’t try this at home. ๐
Yes it should, ha ha :). Thanks.
