Oh well done LT, richly deserved 🙂
Thanks so much, Phil 🙂
Congrats, Lana! You’re poetry is beautiful. I’m heading over to read.
Thank you, Diana. I was so excited!
I loved it. Another lovely poem 🙂
Thanks again, Diana 😀
Wow. Great story. Nice to be able to see vintage story. Oh, you look great at 17, and you look great now.
Thanks so much, John. It truly was a few years ago, ha ha….seems like yesterday.
You are very graciously welcome so much, Lana.
Well done Lana, well deserved!
Thank you, Pauline!
congratulations!
Thank you, Michael 😀
Wonderful!
Thank you!
Congratulations! It’s a great poem, really captures a ‘youthful’ page in time and love the picture. Tip, when you add a link to your blog, there’s a box you can tick so it will open in another window. That way, people can read the poem and still have your blog open for comments.
Thanks Marissa! We sure had some great music back then, but those 8 track tapes were horrible! I can’t tell you how many of them my car ate. Every since I put that one on Facebook, all my friends from high school are shifting nervously in their chairs to see if I might put anymore from that time period, lol. I’m not sure about the box thing, don’t think I’ve ever seen that option….
It’s write under the link thing when it pops up.
Ha, ha! If I were your friends, I’d be nervous too!
Good to know, Marissa. .thanks so much. 😀
Congrats! It’s a fantastic poem.
Thank you, Camie!
Congrats on the publication, Lana! You hardly look a day older now than when you were 17, my friend. And I love how you’ve captured those teenaged feelings of being free-as-a-bird, yet subdued when confronted with mortality!
Thanks Debbie, you are too kind, my friend. That’s very true. When we were teens, we thought we were immortal, until we got a rather firm reminder.
Congratulations, Lana! That is fantastic news. 🙂
Thanks so much Joan!
Reblogged this on Ancien Hippie.
Thanks Penney!
Thank you for writing a great blog!
