Miracle Challenge – Week 8
#4 – Under the Street Lights
Under the street lights
sometimes lovers say goodbyes
and lonely ones look to night skies
sometimes the misplaced meet there
under that glow
seeking redemption
far from daylight’s roar.
And in those moments
beneath scattered light

life’s drifters decide

if they are lucky

or if they are lost.

“Are you a lucky little lady in the city of light
Or just another lost angel, city of night…”

  1. Love the ending. Aren’t we all just drifting, trying to find our place in the world? But then again (per a bumper sticker) NOT ALL WHO WANDER ARE LOST. Great post, LT! 🙂

  2. Hey Garvin ! This is Very much true ! I loved your thoughts, quote and the image too. Good use of prompt theme. Congrats for completing challenge no.4 💐😇

    • Thanks Debbie. I’ve been writing so much about the evening, night, sunset….maybe I’m a vampire, ha ha. Actually it is so hot here, it is really the only time you can go outside.
