Hello everyone. I am guest blogging today on the gracious and talented Colleen Chesebro’s blog. I invite everyone over to read my story, “What Happened in the Woods.” The woods are definitely the place where you might uncover a bit of magic, and well, maybe other things too, but let’s focus on the magic. 😀

Nice one, Lana. Lots of creepy and magical details, and a chilling experience. It was fun to read, and I want more. 😀
Thank you, Diana. You never know what might happen if you find yourself alone in a forest 😀
Nice story. I like the way you get straight into it with a few intriguing brushstrokes, not unlike the opening of Hitchcock’s movie ‘Psycho’.
Thank you, Dave! It is not often that I venture into the fantasy/magic genre, but every now and then, life throws us a curve. Be careful if you venture into the forest. 😀
With that cue line, I couldn’t resist sending you this. Sorry …

Bears! My kind of bears, ha ha!
Ohhh…I love stories about woods, always full of mystery…popping over to read! 😀
Loved your post over at Colleen’s Lana. You have a gift when it comes to weaving in mystery. 🙂 x
Thanks, Debby! I don’t do much mystery or fantasy. I am not even sure why I wrote that story, I must’ve been contemplating sending it somewhere and never got around to it….I do a lot of that 😀
Sometimes the best ideas come out of nowhere! 🙂
Sounds so intriguing – I’m heading over to read it as soon as I can! 😄
Thank you, Sarah 😀
Wow! Just read it and totally love it!!! When the swords came into the game I was like :”what!? What?!” 😄 really cool surprise, Lana! There’s nothing better than a bit of magic in our lives 😄 xxxxx
Thank you so much, Sarah. I don’t venture in to the realm of fantasy much because I’ve never read that much of it or watched the movies either. I’m not really sure where this story came from, it just hit me one day. 😀
Maybe it’s actually a good thing you haven’t read a lot of fantasy stuff, that way your approach will be far better! As this lovely story already proofed! Would love to read more about it! 😊
I remember thinking I should really get involved with The Hobbit, but that is so long and complicated, a bit like taking on Star Wars. Maybe I will get around to reading them someday 😀
I’m sure someday you will! I can only recommend it as the Hobbit is one of my favourite books 😄
I have heard that from so many people, I really do have to read it! 😀
Best on a cold day – bundle up with a cozy blanket, drink some wonderful tea and get lost in the world of J.R.R. Tolkien 😉
