Who inhabits this lake?
Let him come forth
The Master of Sea Monsters
and bad dreams
The fortune teller
of deep water
How trapped is he
this watery spirit
a decimated dreamer
silenced by still water
Come wash my soul
of the waves of memory
spill your secrets
of this blazing blue water
Where are you now?
Floating to the edges
even as I near
the end of the pier
Deliciously atmospheric. Reminds me of the Loch Ness Monster
Thank you so much, Peter. Nessie could indeed be lurking there 😀
Love the mood you have set.
Thanks so much, Lonely Author!
It was my pleasure. Drew
Oh,one of my all-time favorite songs, Lana. Wonderful poem. I’m just going to sit back for a few and mellow out on your blog. 🙂
Feel free to mellow out here any time, Diana. It is a great song 😀

Thanks, John. Happy weekend 😀
You are very welcome.
I like “decimated dreamer.” We’ve all been one, had a dream shattered, maybe figured out how to put it back together. Also how the cadence of this is almost an incantation 🙂
Thanks so much, Joan. Oh yes, we’ve all been there for sure. Have a great creative week ahead!

How many spirits have pondered at those waters, it makes me think. And one of my all time favorite songs!!!!!! Listened to the whole song! <3
